Dimperio Services Inc. was founded in 1981 by current owner and President David Dimperio Jr. He started with a fleet of 3 straight trucks that delivered commercial building products to the local Pittsburgh area. With his newly found passion for the industry that was backed by a sales background, Dave was able to rapidly grow his client base within a few short years of the company’s inception. In partnering with clients like Giant Eagle, Cannon, Standard Register, and Atlas Wholesale Supply, Mr. Dimperio was able to grow his employee base and truck fleet to over 10 different types of straight trucks.
In his newly found success, Dave was able to recognize an opportunity in the trucking industry: dependable straight truck hauling. Mr. Dimperio was able to differentiate himself from his less versatile tractor trailer competitors by understanding a growing need to provide reliable personalized straight truck service that was geared directly to solving customer’s logistical problems. Over the course of 30 years he was able to establish and develop a hassle free delivery solution for clients that guaranteed each delivery was made on time, every time.
With their continued success and established reliable reputation, Dimperio service was able to enter and expand in a variety of different emerging markets that include but are not limited to; retail grocery, gas and oil, commercial building products, domestic steel, and industrial machinery.
